About the Event
"The PITER ALPIMED strategy aims to interconnect and encourage the best practices of the heart of the Mediterranean Alps in a sustainable way, in order to strengthen the attractiveness and accessibility of the territory and to make its actors responsible for its development in Franco-Italian cross-border mountain areas between the Alpes-Maritimes, the province of Imperia and the province of Cuneo.
The area of intervention brings together French and Italian communities, who believe in the ability of cross-border cooperation to collectively imagine adapted and innovative solutions.
The plan revolves around 4 projects to meet these challenges :
INNOVaimed at promoting access to innovation and the dissemination of new technologies among businesses and young people.
HERITAGEaimed at creating a tourist destination in the Mediterranean Alps based on a roaming offer.
CLIMATEaiming to fight against the impacts of climate change for the benefit of maintaining a mountain and rural economy and to raise public…
